LEXUS MONTEREY PENINSULA IS GIVING AWAY A FREE iPAD!

Here’s how it works:
Post the most creative, funny, quirky (inappropriate responses will be deleted and omitted from the contest) response to the question:
“I deserve to win an iPad because…”
in the comment section of this blog after you’ve ‘Liked’ us on Facebook.
-OR-
‘Like’ us on Facebook and post your entry on our wall
After the entry deadline, blog and social media platform visitors will be asked to vote for the winner. So keep visiting us!
If you are a fan of Lexus Monterey Peninsula on Facebook or a follower on Twitter, you will be given an additional entry, so be sure to include the name that is attached to your Facebook profile and your Twitter account, as per the entry instructions.
Competition starts Today (November 12) and entry deadline is December 10. The finalists will be announced in mid-December, a winner chosen (as voted upon by YOU) soon after! Winner will be invited to the dealership to pick up their prize. Top 5 runners-up will also be given a prize at the dealership. You must be a Facebook fan, or “Like” us on Facebook to be eligible for the iPad or the runner-up prizes. When you are a fan or if you are a follower on Twitter, you will receive an extra entry into our drawing for additional prizes!

- Must be 18 years or older to enter
- Must be a US resident
- Entry must include an answer, name, valid email address, and cell phone number. Facebook profile user name and / or Twitter handle are necessary in order to qualify for an additional entry.
- Swearing, lewdness, racism/intolerance and demeaning other commenters will not be tolerated and those entries will not be approved.
- Winner will be chosen by number of votes. Lexus Monterey Peninsula however, reserves the right to make the final decision on the winner. All decisions are final.
- Lexus Monterey Peninsula staff, immediate family members of staff and any supporting staff of Victory Toyota/Scion are not eligible to win.

I deserve to win an iPad because I want to play Plants Vs. Zombies for hours on end so that I can prepare for the apocalyptic events that are doomed upon us for 2012. Also I’m a college student who still takes notes with pen and paper, it’s quite tragic.

I deserve to win an iPad because I have 3 boys who seem to get all the gadgets and I am left with nothing but the back page of a magazine to curl up and hold, wishing it was an iPad. We recently got an Apple Store in my area and I went an experienced the happy world of Apple, touching and feeling the pretty little things. Oh I need one, I would call him Ed and he’d have a space on my pillow every night.

I deserve to win an iPad because… I want to create artworks like David Hockney, carry a zillion books to read on the go, explore the Periodic Table of the Elements in multimedia — and stay a tiny step ahead of my tech-savvy 10-year-old son. (At least til he gets his hands on the new iPad.)
I deserve to win an iPad because….I have began to ride the bus to work, and for the first time in my life finished reading a book. I am now obsessed with reading and can’t wait commute carefree to and from work with a great story each day. Since I do not currently own a computer, I would also use the iPad to help me earn extra money doing bookkeeping on the side. And, of course, I’d use that extra money to buy myself a new Lexus to ride around town on the weekends!!
I deserve to win an iPad because… I will do something great with it. By owning this device, I will represent others that are worthy of an iPad, but are only given second rate machines to do good for humanity. Starting today if I win, I will represent Michael Knight. A lone crimefighter battling the forces of evil with the help of his talking car, KITT. Have you seen this thing, the iPad blows “KITT” out of the water; I don’t think it even has GPS. If there was ever a person who needed an iPad, this was the guy. He saves lives for a living and all he has to work with is this lousy talking car. Come on! Michael can’t even check his Facebook or Twitter with this thing. But, do you know what the worst part is, KITT isn’t a Lexus.
So, Michael Knight, I will be your voice in this unfair world you are forced to live in and with this iPad my joy will be extended to you, sir.

I deserve to win the iPad because right out of college I decided to buy a brand new Lexus and accumulate more debt on top of my student loans. So for the next 40 years of life I probably will not be able to afford anything nice again. The iPad can help me set reminders to pay my car payment, student loans, make maintenance appointments at the Monterey Lexus dealership, and to help navigate my future road trips in my Lexus (since I couldn’t upgrade to the navigation option).

I think I posted this wrong yesterday.
I decided to read this post soley on the fact that the title was interesting but in turn by the end post I left with some good knoweledge. Great post though, I hope to run into others like yourself and check in often to read more of your recent thoughts.
